Support Approach

At New Point Life Services, our commitment to providing comprehensive and personalized care sets us apart from other providers in the developmental disabilities field. Our integrated approach combines specialized medical support with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure our individuals receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. The robust medical department and multi-disciplinary approach not only enhance the care we provide but also reinforce our dedication to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives within our community.

Dedicated Medical Department

One of our standout features is our dedicated medical department, which consists of a registered nurse (RN), a licensed practical nurse (LPN), a Provider Services Manager, and DSP Medical Transports. This team is responsible for scheduling appointments and attendign medical appointments with the residents. Their presence is a significant advantage, as they ensure that our individuals receive the necessary support and medical oversight which ultimately enhances their overall well-being and quality of life.

Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)

Additionally New Point Life Services features a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) composed of medical, behavioral, and clinical professionals. This collaborative team plays a crucial role in supporting our individuals by offering comprehensive recommendations for psychiatric consultations, medication evaluations, and the development of care protocols.

The MDT Team also facilitates referrals to various specialized services, including occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), speech therapy, behavioral support, and recreational therapy. This integrated model allows us to effectively revise Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and respond promptly to the diverse challenges faced by our clients.
